bleachersthe Jack Antonoff-led indie-pop act, announced a slate of tour dates for 2022 in support of their 2021 album, Eliminate Saturday Night Sadness. The tour will run from March to July and will benefit from the support of Allison Ponthier, beabadoobee, Blu DeTiger, Charly Bliss, Lemon twigs, Wolf Aliceand more.
After a two-night run in Boston, MA’s Roadrunner on March 24 and 25, Antonoff and company will take a few months off before heading south. The 2022 tour will kick off in earnest on May 17 in Orlando, Florida. House of Bluesfollowed by a stop at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, Florida, the following night. From there, Bleachers will go through New Orleans, LA (5/20); Austin, TX (05/21); Houston, TX (5/24); and Dallas, TX (5/25) before a stint in Napa, CA BottleRock music festival on May 29.
A quick trip overseas to Primavera Sound in Barcelona, ES (6/10) will come before a return to the US East Coast. A show at Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA (6/15) will host an appearance in Manchester, TN’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival(6/17, 6/18), sending the Bleachers back west for a one-time event in Morrison, CO Red Rocks Amphitheater. After heading north of the border to Vancouver, BC (6/23), the tour will conclude with stops in Washington, California, Maine and New York.

To celebrate this tour announcement, Bleachers have shared a new music video for their 2021 hit song, “How Dare You Want More”, from the aforementioned Eliminate Saturday Night Sadness album. The visual for “How Dare You Want More” features footage from the band’s sold-out tour last fall, featuring behind-the-scenes videos and energetic performance clips from various stops across the United States.
