Barcelona to make an offer for Alex Telles
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are looking to make an offer for Alex Telles as they look to strengthen their defensive options. The Blaugrana have identified the Brazilian left-back as a potential cover option Jordi Alba at the rear left.
The United full-back hasn’t established himself as a regular in the line-up since joining from Porto and could be tempted to move to Spain. Telles isn’t the only player on the Catalan club’s radar with Juventus star Alex Sandro, Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico, Villarrealby Alfonso Pedraza and Borussia DortmundRaphael Guerreiro is also being watched. Barcelona will decide on a target and move quickly to seal a transfer this month.
Alexandre Lacazette snubs Juventus offer
Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has turned down an offer to join Newcastle on a permanent basis this month, according to TMW reports. The Frenchman’s current deal at the Emirates Stadium is due to expire this summer and could switch to a free transfer this summer.
It is understood the Magpies have offered the French striker a lucrative deal despite him being reluctant to engage in a battle to avoid relegation from the Premier League. The Gunners striker will weigh all his options and decide on his next destination this summer as he focuses on finishing the campaign strong with the north London club.
