The Barcelona Burger & Beer Garden in Mooresville is offering free burgers to ‘COVID heroes’.

The Barcelona Burger & Beer Garden in Mooresville applauds our community‘s COVID responders in their own way – with food.

The award-winning burger restaurant has named October 21 “Heroes Appreciation Day” at its Merino Mill restaurant. On that day, burgers, fries and a soft drink will be offered free of charge to any healthcare worker, police officer, firefighter, teacher, educator or grocery store employee. Just show your workplace ID badge to use.

The fine print:

  • This offer is available from 11:30 a.m. until closing, i.e. around 8:30 p.m.

  • Barcelona will not be able to take call orders on this day.

  • One hamburger per person.

Your choices of burgers:

  • Barcelona classic: Certified Angus beef, American cheese, lettuce, pickle, tomato, onion and house sauce.
  • All American: Certified Angus beef, American cheese, applewood smoked bacon, tomato, lettuce, onion and house sauce.

Barcelona’s sister restaurant, Alino Pizzeria, hosted appreciation days in 2020, offering nearly 7,000 pizzas over three days. Delish recently named Alino as “The pizza place everyone is obsessed with in your state.”
