The Barcelona Burger & Beer Garden in Mooresville applauds our community‘s COVID responders in their own way – with food.
The award-winning burger restaurant has named October 21 “Heroes Appreciation Day†at its Merino Mill restaurant. On that day, burgers, fries and a soft drink will be offered free of charge to any healthcare worker, police officer, firefighter, teacher, educator or grocery store employee. Just show your workplace ID badge to use.

This offer is available from 11:30 a.m. until closing, i.e. around 8:30 p.m.

Your choices of burgers:
- Barcelona classic: Certified Angus beef, American cheese, lettuce, pickle, tomato, onion and house sauce.
- All American: Certified Angus beef, American cheese, applewood smoked bacon, tomato, lettuce, onion and house sauce.
“Everyone has worked hard for many months to keep the community healthy and the economy running during COVID,†owner Michal Bay said in a statement. “We are happy to cheer them up with good food. “
