Harry Maguire has already delivered his verdict on Brendan Rodgers amid United ties

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has previously described Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers as a “very good coach” amid the continuing ties between the Northern Irishman and Old Trafford.

Rodgers has been installed as a bookmakers favorite to replace United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a four-game losing streak in their last six Premier League games.

United’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City ahead of the international break prompted calls from a growing number of United fans for a change to be made at the shelter as their patience quickly began to run out.

The Reds, after an excellent recruiting campaign during the summer transfer window, were expected to be one of the main contenders for the Premier League title this season. However, despite Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo landing, United appear to be light years away from threatening Liverpool and City.
