According to Spanish news source Mundo Deportivo (via sports witness), an update has emerged on Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer plans for Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembele.

The Lowdown: Spurs offer made for Dembele …

The same recently revealed outlet (via Sports witness) that Fabio Paratici and co have already made an offer to sign the French international at the end of his contract.

Free to leave as a free agent in 2022, Dembele can negotiate a pre-contract transfer in January with Spurs apparently rushing in with an offer for the player around him.

Paratici apparently plans to give manager Antonio Conte a gift ‘quality players at zero cost‘with an update on their hunt for the former Borussia Dortmund sensation.

The Last: Spurs on the hunt …

According to Mundo sources (via SW), Tottenham are in the race to sign Dembele and are seen as ‘chic contenders’ for his signing.

The 24-year-old, as it stands, is believed to be in favor of an extension of his stay in Catalonia, but representatives are too late in giving a concrete answer as they are stalling given the interest of others. clubs, including Spurs.

The verdict: ideal signature?

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel marks Dembele ‘a bit crazy’ and an ‘incredible player’, certainly underlines that the £ 45million man has capacity bags.

Barca have agreed to a £ 96.8million first move to sign the striker in a deal worth up to £ 135.5million (BBC), confirming how well it was rated at the time, but a plethora of injury issues have since followed despite periods of good form.

For this reason, a hit for Dembele, even on a possible free deal, could be risky from Tottenham’s point of view.

That said, if Conte can make the most of the young starlet and somehow resolve her fitness issues, what a perfect signing to excite fans for a new era in North London.
